Once More, At Midnight By Wendy Warren

5 stars 243 Boring completely predictable and the romance angle is lacking 243 Fairly standard love story but fairly engaging I liked the hero the heroine was okay and the secondary characters were mostly quite enjoyable However the child was awful Even trying to be sympathetic to her recent loss I had trouble not DNF the book because of her I wish something had made her remotely likable. The book could have been romantic since the couple came off as friends than anything else but the writing is very nice I also enjoyed the random Yiddish words tossed in Also interesting to have an ex actress in there for a change I love romances involving actors or performers since that actually makes all the exceptional beauty they all have make some sense. Love had and lost and almost lost again 243
