The Butlers Daughter (Collingwood Heirs #1)OK A bit predictable but I liked how Julian stood up to Hunter And that he owned his feelings for her early on Romance Better than average romance mystery from Harlequin writer Joyce Sullivan Published in 2003 it s the 1st in a 2 book series There is unprotected sex between the married H h no discussion of STD s or previous sexual partners Juliana is the daughter of a butler to a multi billionaire his wife Due to the couple s first child having been abducted from the hospital as a newborn Juliana is tasked with pretending their newest child is hers When the couple die after a bomb rips through their rented cabin The Guardian the hero arrives to take over As the baby s legal guardian he decides to marry the heroine to provide the baby with a mother As he has decided never to marry the decision is logical Of course sparks fly In the meantime someone is trying to kill the baby anyone else in the way This a drama laden story worthy of a Life Time movie We have bombings murder kidnapping much intrigue It was well written though the dialogue flowed well just not a 4 star story IMO The villain behind all the mayhem was pretty easy to spot OK beach read Romance
